The Foundation for Entrepreneurial Research and Development (FERAD) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of individuals through providing research and development services on projects aimed at fostering entrepreneurial activities.

Because our world and our environment is constantly changing, and communication channels are more global, there are continual opportunities for bringing together people, process and technology in the advancement of economic, community and workforce development initiatives. FERAD recognizes that by empowering individuals, communities and societies to foster entrepreneurial creation and growth, they will be contributing to their individual and collective economic and social prosperity.

Toward these outcomes, FERAD research and development activities focus on the promotion of entrepreneurial pursuits by:

• Working to increase awareness and access of available entrepreneurial support programs and resources
• Striving to improve entrepreneurial educational curriculum and training platforms
• Facilitating increased collaboration between public and private organizations
• Fostering an entrepreneurial environment that builds mutual trust, drives shared economic prosperity and enhances social capital

No one is more motivated or better equipped to foster skill development and economic independence than the person whose life and future is at stake. And no one is smarter about bringing about the transformative change and economic development support than the nation whose communities and people will benefit from such incentives.

At FERAD, our role is to help catalyze the economic advancement and shared prosperity that communities aspire to.
